In every bit of life in this world there is death. These particular pieces, forms that allude to pots that stood guard at graves, deal with the weight of that reality. For every North American luxury there is a murder, genocide large or small. Our lifestyle of suburbs and sky rises necessitates a perpetual state of war and military dominance. What is it that these soldiers are dieing for? Why has it become necessary to kill civilians in order to save them? As an artist I can only decorate this world with the truth of my experiences and the understandings I have come to from a constant investigation of the world around me.
